Terms of Service
Updated 28 September 2026
These terms explain how MediRun's marketplace and delivery coordination service works. They do not remove any consumer or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. Marketplace role
MediRun provides a digital service that connects customers with participating pharmacy partners and coordinates ordering and delivery. The pharmacy identified for an order is responsible for its product listings, professional checks, dispensing and supply of medicines, subject to applicable law. MediRun does not manufacture medicines. The legal classification and obligations of the platform are determined by applicable law, not by this description.
Pharmacy applicants must submit PCN registration information and supporting documents for platform review. Platform approval or a badge is not a substitute for checking that a pharmacy's registration is current with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
2. Medicines and health information
MediRun's AI assistant and drug-interaction feature provide general information only. They are not a diagnosis, prescription, pharmacist consultation, or emergency service, and their output may be incomplete or wrong. Ask a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or combining medicines. For an emergency, contact local emergency services or go to an appropriate health facility.
Prescription-only products cannot currently be purchased through checkout because an order-linked prescription review workflow is not available. Do not use an uploaded health-record file as evidence that a prescription has been reviewed for an order.
3. Listings, orders and payments
Product availability, price, delivery fee and the pharmacy fulfilling an order are shown during checkout and may change until an order is accepted. A submitted order is a request; the pharmacy must confirm it. Payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout and are subject to that provider's terms. Contact the pharmacy through the order flow or contact MediRun about an order problem. Any cancellation, refund or return is handled under applicable law and the order circumstances.
4. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your account details accurate and protect your sign-in credentials. Do not use the service to submit false pharmacy or rider documents, interfere with another person's account, misuse location or health information, or engage in fraud. We may restrict or suspend access while investigating suspected misuse, with regard to applicable law and any rights to challenge that action.
Pharmacy and rider partners must keep required licences, registrations and operational information current and comply with applicable professional, consumer, medicines, privacy and delivery requirements. Separate partner agreements may apply.
5. Consumer rights and responsibility
Nothing in these terms asks you to waive a right or remedy protected by Nigerian law. Nothing excludes or limits liability where that exclusion or limit is prohibited by law. Information in the app does not replace advice from a licensed pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional.
6. Questions and complaints
For an order issue, use the in-app order support or dispute option where available. You may also email [email protected]. The contact page opens an email draft; it does not itself submit a message. You may also contact the appropriate regulator or consumer-protection authority.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. We will publish the current version here with its update date. Continued use after an update does not remove rights that applicable law gives you.
See also the Privacy Policy. These terms need review by Nigerian legal counsel and confirmation of MediRun's registered business details before launch.
